| Marilyn Borges, assistant director for Academic Support Services at UCF Palm Bay, earned a Master's in Educational Leadership from Capella University. Selena Forrester, academic advisor, received the University Award for Excellence in Professional Advising at the UCF Founder's Day ceremony. Congratulations UCF Palm Bay students who won awards at the Showcase of Undergraduate Research (SURE) Conference. Kevin Palmer won first place for Social Science II for his research on how changes in Physical Context decrease stress response habituation. Ashley Harper won first place for Social Science I for her research on how Existential Connectedness and Pet Attachment influence Loneliness. Maria Ricci-Twitchell won first place for Social Science II for her research on how Health Locus of Control and Perceptions of Physician support are related. |
